Drone construction monitoring

Aerial views taken at regular intervals document every phase of the works. They support project management as well as communication with clients and funders.

What we deliver

Earthworks, structural works, finishing, landscaping: each stage is recorded from the same viewpoints.

Regular campaigns

A single shoot or weekly, monthly or on-demand monitoring for the whole duration of the works.

Orthophotos and quantities

Georeferenced progress plans, areas, earthwork and stockpile volumes.

Long-term time-lapses

Fixed cameras installed on site condense months of work into a few minutes.

Virtual tours

360° panoramas viewable remotely, for site meetings and team briefings.

Time-lapse

A fixed camera photographs the site at regular intervals, from groundbreaking to handover.

The final film tells the story of the project in a few minutes: a strong asset for end-of-project deliverables, openings and corporate communication.

Three years on the Ariane 6 construction site

From November 2018 to March 2021 we photographed and filmed the construction of the Ariane 6 launch complex (ELA4) at the Guiana Space Centre, every month in 2019. The fourteen films were published by the Guiana Space Centre; our photos were used by ESA, Espace & Exploration, France-Guyane and Latitude 5, the CNES magazine in French Guiana.

Frequently asked questions

How often do you come?

Most often once a month, sometimes once a quarter. On the Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni waste storage facility, eight visits since October 2024, each with a 3 cm orthophoto and a plan.

Can you install time-lapse cameras?

Yes, autonomous units installed for the duration of the works, with edits delivered along the way: two cameras on the Balata works from November 2024 to late 2025, two more on the Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni site during construction.

What can be measured on a construction site?

Progress, volumes of spoil and stockpiles, the layout of structures and their elevations: at Corossony, every concrete footing of a solar plant was surveyed on a 2 mm per pixel orthophoto.

Can the images also be used for communication?

Yes: aerial photos, videos, hyperlapses and edits are used in site meetings as well as in the client’s communication, up to the laying of the first stone or the inauguration.
