A 3D model of Cayenne hospital delivered in 24 hours for an architecture competition
At the end of January 2026, an architecture firm in Cayenne called us: it was entering a competition launched by the hospital and needed, by 4 February at the latest, oblique photos and a 3D model of the area concerned, to place its project in the existing site.

Declaration, capture, publication
The flight declaration was filed on 26 January for a site in an urban area, close to the airport. Oblique photos were taken on 2 and 3 February and delivered the same day; a low-resolution 3D model went online the next day on a web viewer, followed by the high-resolution version once full processing was complete.
The model, exported in a format readable by architecture software, allowed the firm to place its volumes in the real site, with neighbouring buildings, access roads and vegetation.
What the drone makes possible here
A conventional site survey would have taken several days and would not have provided the façades. Drone photogrammetry delivers, in a single campaign, the orthophoto, the textured 3D model and the oblique photos architects use for their perspectives. The same method was used in July 2026 for a school complex in Martinique.
