Balaté Nord: three drone visits to a housing district under construction
Aerial photos and videos of a housing scheme in Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, from January 2025 to March 2026, with flight paths drawn by the client.

Background
At Balaté Nord, SEMSAMAR is building a housing scheme divided into nineteen lots on either side of a main avenue, next to a secondary school. To monitor the scheme and report on it, the client ordered three drone visits, the second one timed to follow the first homes handed over, in November 2025.
What we did
The first visit took place in January 2025. The second, in December 2025, covered the homes handed over, under construction and just started, with eye-level videos inside the residences, at the client’s request. For the third, in early March 2026, as the phase 2 buildings were rising from the ground, the client drew two lower, more dynamic flight paths on the plan in place of the corner views: one from the Tinamou residence over lots 15 to 10 and the school, the other from the district entrance along the main avenue, lot by lot. Each visit was declared in advance, and the second was coordinated with the Saint-Laurent aerodrome operator; photos, RAW files and video rushes were delivered online.
