BHNS works at Balata: two time-lapse cameras for fourteen months
From 8 November 2024 to 31 December 2025, two time-lapse units and five days of aerial and ground filming on the RN2 upgrade in Matoury, for the civil works contractor.

Background
In Matoury, national road 2 is being rebuilt between the Balata junction and the PROGT roundabout to carry the bus rapid transit line: the project provides two traffic lanes and one bus lane in each direction, plus paths for pedestrians and cyclists. Ribal TP, which is carrying out the works for the DGTM, wanted regular images of the site for its communication, over works planned to last three years.
What we did
We installed two autonomous time-lapse units on fixed viewpoints over the site, the first on 8 November 2024 and the second on 16 December 2024, then handled their programming as the works progressed, their maintenance and the retrieval of the images. Five days of aerial and ground filming completed this continuous record: 16 July and 18 October 2024, 9 January, 27 March and 19 June 2025. A first edit covering the early months was delivered in 4K in June 2025, and a second one of about a minute and a half, tracing the works up to the June shoot, on 29 October 2025. The time-lapses were delivered by period, November 2024 to June 2025, July to September and October to December 2025, and as a fourteen-month cumulative version on 9 January 2026. The contract ended in late 2025, after which the units were removed.
