Coco Banane and Savane des Pères: two solar plants as virtual tours, 26 panoramas
In November 2025 we produced virtual tours of two operating photovoltaic plants for Voltalia from two days of capture: 12 and 14 panoramas, tours online on 10 November, 2 cm per pixel orthophotos and source files handed over on the 18th.

Background
Voltalia operates several solar plants in French Guiana, including Coco Banane in Montsinéry and Savane des Pères in Sinnamary, which combines panels with battery storage; we had followed the construction of the latter in 2019. In September 2025 Voltalia’s asset manager in French Guiana ordered a virtual tour and an orthophoto of each site, and the communication department added video footage.
What we did
Both plants were covered in two consecutive days in early November. At Coco Banane, 12 panoramas: the entrance, the inverters, the transformer stations, the delivery substation, the control room and two aerial views. At Savane des Pères, 14 panoramas: the entrance, the site base, the buildings, the battery storage, the transformer and delivery stations, the embankment and the far end of the plant. Each tour includes a plan taken from the site orthophoto. The tours went online on 10 November 2025, with an offline version for Windows, then were updated on the 15th with the equipment designations supplied by the client; on the 18th we handed over the two GeoTIFF orthophotos at 2 cm per pixel, in EPSG 2972, and the tours’ source files. The video footage, at 25 frames per second and colour-graded, was delivered as soon as capture was finished, for the client’s own edits.

12,647 hectares of orthophotos at 3.5 cm for EPFA Guyane
From 4 December 2023 to 1 March 2024, eight sectors photographed at 3.5 cm per pixel, from Cayenne to Cacao: 343 flights, 184,464 photos, 50 ground control points and 26 check points. A second 6,545-hectare campaign began on 16 October 2026; its first sector was delivered on 19 October.

Corossony solar plant: 1,472 concrete footings surveyed at 2 mm per pixel before repowering
A 1:500 topographic plan of the plant in operation in September 2024, then the position and height of each of the 1,472 footings kept for the new structures, in December 2025.

Waste in western French Guiana: eight visits in Saint-Laurent, four Maroni villages at 1 cm
Since October 2024, photos taken from the same viewpoints at every visit to the Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni waste storage facility, with a 3 cm orthophoto and a plan since December 2024; in February 2026, the waste sites of four river villages surveyed at 1 cm.
